ROTAS ALTERADAS / MIDIFIED ROUTS
Intervention in the landscape of the city with a performance where the artist propose to break the daily routine, spreading and fixing at strategic points clear balloons with a message placed inside. The action aims to catch startle individuals in their daily routine and suggest a detour in their route, challenging people to pop the balloons and read the message.
The project consists of images projected against the windows of a house without a roof, where it is seen from the outside, a lot of fish swimming in crystal clear water inside. Turning it into a huge virtual aquarium.
Brazilian artist, lives and works in São Paulo, self-taught artist with a background in psychology from San Marcos University, followed by several courses in art and photography.
Angella works on the issues of time, memory, individual and loneliness in different medium like photography, object, installation, intervention and videos. Has works in public and private collections. Her work has been exhibited in national and international institutions such as MAM Bahia, MAC-USP, Ribeirão Preto APRM, Paraná and MAC- Jatahy, Amadeo Souza Cardoso Museum-Portugal, Cordoba, Badajoz and Madrid-Spain-Russia Perm, Ireland Mexico and Cuba. Selected for the 4th Prize CNI / SESI marcoantonio Vilaca for Visual Arts in Brazil.
